چکیده
Background: There are scarce reports about the association of Klebsiella oxytoca ( K. ) with urinary tract infection (UTI) in children. We aimed to evaluate prevalence fimA, mrkA, matB and pilQ adhesins genes extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) blaCTX-M, blaTEM blaSHV by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) study biofilm formation antibiotics resistance from children UTI. Methods: This was a retrospective cross-sectional that included 120 UTI due . The bacteria were subjected molecular detection ESBL PCR. Biofilm capacity determined microtiter plate method. Results: isolated had positive activity 45.8% isolates. About 40% isolates producers. frequency adhesion among 91.7%, 83.3%, 48.3% 37.5% for matB, pilQ, fimA mrkA genes, respectively. For 38.3%, 36.7% 33.3% commonest blaCTX-M (83.6%), (80%) then gene (72.7%). A significant (p=0.048) detected between oxytoca. Conclusion: Present highlights emergence as pathogen associated high adhesin these form production.

Evaluation of antibiotic resistance associated with ophthalmic oqxAB pumps in Klebsiella pneumoniae causing urinary tract infection
Background: The urinary tract infection is the secondary most common human infection. Colon bacteria, including Klebsiella pneumonia, are the main cause of urinary tract infections. The occurrence of the antibiotic resistance is a major problem in the treatment of infections. Beta- lactamases and efflux pumps constitute the major defense mechanisms of antibiotic resistance of Klebsiella pneumon...
متن کاملPathogenic significance of Klebsiella oxytoca in acute respiratory tract infection.
A retrospective study of all Klebsiella isolations from patients admitted to hospital with acute respiratory tract infections over a 27-month period was carried out. Ten of the Klebsiella isolations from sputum and one from a blood culture were identified as Klebsiella oxytoca. The clinical and radiological features of six patients are described. Four of these patients had lobar pneumonia, one ...
متن کاملQuinolone Resistance in Oligella Urethralis-Associated Urinary Tract Infection
The importance of oxidase-positive, nonfermentative, Gram-negative bacilli in a variety of pathological processes is becoming increasingly important. Oligella urethralis is an organism which is normally isolated as a commensal from the genitourinary tract. We have described one case of urinary tract infection caused by this organism. This isolated organism is found to be resistant to quinolones...
متن کاملDiagnostic value of radioisotopic cystography in evaluation of VUR in children with urinary tract infection [Persian]
Radioisotope scanning is very important in evaluation, diagnosis and proper treatment of urinary tract infection (UTI) and vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) because of high sensitivity of this technique and less radiation dose delivered to the patients. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study to determine the frequency VUR in a group of children aged 28 days to 14 years referred to our depa...
